The family and divorce mediation training is an active, intensive 42 hour training that usually takes place for five (5) consecutive days, from 8:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Some of the course content includes:
The process of mediation
Conflict resolution , problem solving
Emotional "hooks" affecting mediator neutrality
All issues dealing with separation/divorce
Standards and ethics
Starting your own mediation practice
Domestic Violence
Coaching feedback from experienced mediators
One hour for lunch (provided), two 15-minute breaks
